"Intercom" is the result of a collaboration that has spanned more than 25 years. Sonwriter, Matt Sauers recorded an early demo in 1996 that would be the template for live arrangements performed by The Schcroders, one of the several names that Matt and singer/guitartist David Cron would use for their shows.

In late 2023, David Cron was recording a new version of "Intercom" at the Underground Recording Studio in Randolph, VT. During one session, Beth Svahn-Monroe happened to be there setting up for an upcoming show in the Listening Room, and after a listen or two, she was in the booth knocking out a vocal take that would elevate the entire song.

Now called The Sleepy Weasels, Beth and David are busy working their follow-up releases releases to "Intercom".
